During my recent stay at this charming hotel in Amoudi Bay, I thoroughly enjoyed the daily breakfast served by our attentive host, Johnny. Each morning, the simplicity of locally-sourced ingredients came together beautifully on my plate, offering a true taste of the Cycladic lifestyle. The fresh bread, local cheeses, and ripe fruits showcased the region's agricultural treasures. The hotel's location is undeniably advantageous, with an unobstructed view of the iconic Santorini sunset. The moment I walked the short distance along the coast, I was greeted by a serene spot, allowing for a more intimate sunset experience away from the bustling crowds. Yes, the climb of 40 steps to reach the accommodation may be daunting for some, but the reward is a relaxing retreat. Cleaning services were performed promptly and daily, adding to the overall comfort of my stay. While the dining options nearby may not be extensive, I found delight in the Taverna Katina, just steps away. The fish dishes were fresh and reflected the island's culinary essence. This establishment offers a harmonious blend of comfort, convenience, and local flavors-ideal for those seeking a getaway steeped in tradition.
